The Advantages of Carbon Cleaning

Frequently Asked Questions
Diesel cars with advanced emissions control equipment are more likely to need a carbon clean. The diesel fuel doesn’t burn as cleanly as petrol and builds up carbon deposits over time. At the same time, the particulate filter and catalyst can become clogged and affect the entire engine performance.
Petrol is good at cleaning components as it passes through them. However, if you have a GDI (gasoline direct injection) engine, you may also need a carbon clean. The squirted petrol doesn’t cover as many parts and can lead to clogging.
